This past week, we were privileged to have a conversation with co-founder of Robo Wunderkind, Anna Iarotska. Below are a few questions we asked regarding Robo Wunderkind and tips for job seekers!
Q: What inspired you to start Robo Wunderkind?
A: "I co-founded Robo Wunderkind with the goal of helping transform how children learn about modern technologies. Our robotics kits empower kids to learn to code and to get creative through the joy of play. We want to empower them to be creative with technology. I believe that educational possibilities are one of the biggest forces to provide future generations with the skills and knowledge they need to shape the world."
Q: What kind of person succeeds at your company?
A: "We are looking for team members who are ambitious, motivated, and have a track record of over-achieving and exceeding targets. As a leader, I am working on unlocking the creativity of my team by encouraging them to learn the needs of their users, how they think and feel, to show compassion, humility, and an open mind."
Q: What sorts of things would you love to see in applicants' resumes?
A: "Experience developing learning tools that creatively leverage new technologies, knowledge of instructional design and educational technology best practices in the context of STEM education, familiarity with standards for teaching Computing in different countries. "
